Triceratops is an extinct genus of herbivorous chasmosaurine ceratopsid dinosaur that lived in North America during the late Cretaceous period. It is also one of only four dinosaurs to appear in every Jurassic film. Among the most significant dinosaur fossils ever discovered, the Triceratops fossil makes a brief yet memorable appearance in the Jurassic World films.
